Deployed Soldier Needs help getting the boy friend a gift

Him and I have been togther for about 5 months, about 2 months before I deployed. Things over here are hard on the communication thing, and i feel really bad that I just don’t know what to get him.He will be deploying in January so I dont know what to get him that he can use and take with him that will mean something. Any help with this would be great.He is 23 and has just about every electonic you can think of other then a lap top, but i cant afford that, nor do I think that a 5 month relationship warrents that big of an investment. Please help
